Wow! I cant believe its the end of the year! It seems like a month ago we were all entering gr.9, and now in just a couple of days we will be taking our exams and be done school. There is so much to look forward to but so much that will be missed. I feel as if we (all gr. 9 students) became close like family and it will be sad to see everyone go their separate ways in the upcoming year. But we will always have good memories from this year. For example the the Gr. 9 grad/celebration. We all dressed up and everyone looked so good and grown up. Another great time we had together was at Pioneer Ranch. Three days away from school and the real world. It was nice just to be away from all the hustle and bustle of life and to really get a glimpse of who everyone was. Although not all of the gr.9ers were at the all-nighter the ones that were there had so much fun and the next day, the farmers market what a blast but it seemed like forever! the ski trip was fun too!
I felt like gr. 9 was a year to truly see who you are and who your true friends were. Yes people say that kind of thing all the time but this year it really was true. I saw close friends go so fast and people I didn't think I'd be friends with become very close and an old friend became one of my best buds again. also people were just getting busier with sports and such. i was also very busy this year and lost relationships with others who moved to new schools. communication was very hard and when we did get a hold of each other no day was ever free. Things were constantly changing for the better or maybe for worse. All in all I'm just glad to have my lasting friends by my side and my family who will always be proud which i found out today. That's what i like about family, their for you through thick and thin! I definitely grew in my faith this year. many things changed and some things didn't go as planed and a had to really trust in god that this was all for the better. now that school is just about over and summer is just around the corner i can final concentrate on royals and really prepare myself for Calgary stampede and world competition. I really want to bring home the Gold! :)

- What within these arguments would make you believe in the existence of a Creator? Explain your answer.
- With the evidence of a Creator that the aforementioned quotes lists, why do you think many scientists would choose to deny God?
what do you beleive?
today in class we are comparing religions such as
Islam, Christianity, Mormon, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism
1. Which religions believe in a literal heaven? Which ones do not?
Heaven No Heaven
Islam, Christianity, Mormon. Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism
2. Which religions Worship only one God? Which ones Worship many Gods or no God?
One God Many Gods No Gods
Hinduism their Mormon, Buddhism
god is called Brahman one god but
man can become god of
Judaism, name their own world
not said
Muslims, named Allah.
Christianity,only one God,
but in three persons
3. Which religions believe that humans will face one final judgment by an eternal God?
Which religions believe in a continual cycle of “rebirth” until perfection is achieved?
-Mormon, Judaism, Islam, Christianity, all believe that they will have one final judgment
-Hinduism, Buddhism both have a "rebirth"
4. Which religions believe that some type of salvation comes through what we do?
Achieve “salvation” through our own efforts
5. Read each of the statements carefully and decide if the statement is possible (P) or
impossible (I).
A. There is only one God and there are many different gods and there is no god at all P but my faith says otherwise
B. A person dies only once and dies many times over through reincarnation. P my faith you die once and go to heaven
C. It is possible that one of the above religions is true. P Christianity is a real religion
D. It is possible that all of the above religions are true. I God said the only way is through Him
E. It is possible that none of the above religions are true. P no religion can be 100% sure that its real but faith is what makes us believe the facts ( true or not) about ones religion
F. I can know with reasonable certainty Whether or not a religion is true. P again no one is 100% sure about the religion they believe in is real but in my own faith i have seen enough answered prayer that i feel my is true

Prove that!
what is apologetic:
apologetic is the branch of Christian theology that is concerned with making a
defense, or case, for the truth claims of the Christian faith.
So i read this article about two friends. One who thinks no logical person could believe in God, and the other who thinks no logical person could fail to believe in God? Now who do i relate with more? Well i would have to say the person who is on Gods side and think no logical person could fail to believe in God. Even though science dose not always point towards the christian view i believe there is other proof all around us.
I put the article in a link if you want to read it ;)
I Peter 3:15 says .... "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be
ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope
that is in you, with meekness and fear." NKJ
hard and soft science:
hard science is...
solid proof of something's existence or scientific evidence (proof)
some example's are: 2+2= 4, you where born on ____ of ____ on this year
soft science is...
something you don't have proof of. (prediction)
some example's are: Knowing Where to find gold, where to find oil
- What types of questions/issues about faith and Christianity do you think can be addressed by hard science? -was there a man named Jesus walked the earth?did Jesus really died on a cross and was missing in his tomb 3 days after burial.
- What types of questions/issues do you think can be addressed by soft science?
well -were was the garden of Eden? Did Jesus really spit in a blind mans eyes to make him see again?
