Wow! I cant believe its the end of the year! It seems like a month ago we were all entering gr.9, and now in just a couple of days we will be taking our exams and be done school. There is so much to look forward to but so much that will be missed. I feel as if we (all gr. 9 students) became close like family and it will be sad to see everyone go their separate ways in the upcoming year. But we will always have good memories from this year. For example the the Gr. 9 grad/celebration. We all dressed up and everyone looked so good and grown up. Another great time we had together was at Pioneer Ranch. Three days away from school and the real world. It was nice just to be away from all the hustle and bustle of life and to really get a glimpse of who everyone was. Although not all of the gr.9ers were at the all-nighter the ones that were there had so much fun and the next day, the farmers market what a blast but it seemed like forever! the ski trip was fun too!
I felt like gr. 9 was a year to truly see who you are and who your true friends were. Yes people say that kind of thing all the time but this year it really was true. I saw close friends go so fast and people I didn't think I'd  be friends with become very close and an old friend became one of my best buds again. also people were just getting busier with sports and such. i was also very busy this year and lost relationships with others who moved to new schools. communication was very hard and when we did get a hold of each other no day was ever free. Things were constantly changing for the better or maybe for worse. All in all I'm just glad to have my lasting friends by my side and my family who will always be proud which i found out today. That's what i like about family, their for you through thick and thin! I definitely grew in my faith this year. many things changed and some things didn't go as planed and a had to really trust in god that this was all for the better. now that school is just about over and summer is just around the corner i can final concentrate on royals and really prepare myself for Calgary stampede and world competition. I really want to bring home the Gold! :)

• What within these arguments would make you believe in the existence of a Creator?  Explain your answer.

Top scientists around the world seem to think that science can't explain everything and that the world is much too complicated for simple proof through science then why wouldn't I think that there is room for the existence of a Creator.

• With the evidence of a Creator that the aforementioned quotes lists, why do you think many scientists would choose to deny God?

Although there seems to be proof of a Creator I think many scientist would choose to deny God because it's easier for them to explain things through science, something they can touch and feel, instead of faith where they can't see or prove how things happen. Maybe it even makes them feel insignificant and not in control by not having all the answers.

what is apologetic:

 

apologetic is the branch of Christian theology that is concerned with making a defense, or case, for the truth claims of the Christian faith.

So i read this article about two friends.One who thinks no logical person could believe in God, and the other who thinks no logical person could fail to believe in God? Now who do i relate with more? Well i would have to say the person who is on Gods side and think no logical person could fail to believe in God. Even though science dose not always point towards the christian view i believe there is other proof all around us.

 something you don't have proof of. (prediction)

1. What types of questions/issues about faith and Christianity do you think can be addressed by hard science?   -was there a man named Jesus walked the earth?did Jesus really died on a cross and was missing in his tomb 3 days after burial.

   well    -were was the garden of Eden? Did Jesus really spit in a blind mans eyes to make him see again?

                  Today in bible class we talked about the Apostles Creed. We talked about witch versus we thought we important. Some people only picked a couple versus and others thought the whole thing was important. I high-lighted what i though was important for Christians to believe.

We were told to go further and talk about one of the versus. "the forgiveness of sin."  These are the verses i picked.

These are the top 5 questions about heaven, that our class would ask God

1) Can new born children go to heaven before they get a chance to learn about yo?
2) Do some people half die, they go to heaven or hell and then back on earth they receive an electric shock and come back to life?
3) Is heaven in the universe of somewhere else
4) When you get to heaven can you see everything that happens down on earth?
5) Do pets go to the same heaven as us or is there a heaven just for them?

Questions, Questions, so many Questions

If i could ask God any question and pick five, i would probably ask this....
1). Why, why am i the way i am?
2). How could you think of so many things to create, the world is soo big!
3). Why did you create people when you knew we would mess the world up?
4). We messed things up so much how could you still love us, and send you only son to save us?
5). When someone is born and the only live for a couple years, a short enough life that the didn't get a chance to pick how they were going to live their life, do they still go to heaven? Is there an age limit? is the limit different for everyone?

 These are just some of the questions i would ask God. There are so many things i would love to know.
